"Your Voice Makeover - Get More Team

Buy-In & Increase Business Performance"

Presented by Lynda Waltner Stucky

    Tuesday, October 5, 2021-8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Virtual Meeting (Zoom invite sent prior to event)
    HRCI/SHRM = 1.5 credits
      • Do you struggle to influence your colleagues with your message?
      • Are you aware of how the way you communicate?
      • Do you realize the way you sound may become obstacles that
      •      prevent others from listening to you?

Join us for the Westmoreland Human Resources Association (WHRA) October Professional Development Meeting: Your Voice Makeover - Get More Team Buy-in & Increase Business Performance. You will become aware of the critical role your voice plays when selling your ideas, products, or services to your audiences and get valuable information about sounding like the leader that you are.

      Description:

We are all judged by the way we sound—not just what we say. Your message is more compelling with speech, language, and voice skills that captivate and engage. You must be likable and trustworthy to get people to listen to you. Align your speech, language, and voice skills with your professional goals and see for yourself the impact you will have on your audiences, whether you speak to an audience of one or a roomful of people.

      Objectives:

      • Increase your awareness of perceptions associated with voices.
      • Learn speech tools to create confidence and clarity.
      • Position yourself by developing your unique “sound.”
      • Recognize the vocal traits that you can improve.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive live feedback (strengths/opportunities) and experiment with new strategies.
